Why doesn't this work on my page?
There are a few reasons that this application will not generate your friends.

  1. The number 1 reason this application would not work on your page is that you have your profile set to Private. If you don't want your page to be public, I will be working on an application(Coming Soon) that you can upload your pictures to my server and you can make a slideshow from them.
  2. You have chosen more friends in the dropdown than you actually have on your myspace profile. For example you have 7 friends in your profile, you should choose 6 from the dropdown if the option is available.
  3. You are using a external friends generator like r4wr.com or h2mate generator.
  4. There may be a problem with some of the HTML code on your profile.

How do I get my MySpace ID?
You can get your MySpace ID by clicking on the "How do I get my Friend ID" link on the generator page. This will bring up a form that you can put in your email address or your myspace username and it will search for your Friend ID for you.

Where do I put this code on my MySpace Page?
Similiar to other codes that you find on the internet, this application is not much different. You can take the code generated by the application, and put it on your MySpace profile. Most people put it somewhere in the about me section with their other content. Also you can put this code on other websites like Geocities or Yahoo webhosting. This code is very versatile and you can make the colors match pretty much anything. Check out MyGen.co.uk for more help on HTML, CSS and other MySpace help.

What if I have less than 3 friends?
Some of the generators will work with just 2 friends. For instance, the Large Generator or the Ipod Generator . MySpace is designed for you to have friends, so I definately hope you are adding friends to your myspace profile. you can add me if you would like.
